BELS+ Training day at the FIG Working Week 2019

On 21st of April 2019, The NAVIS Centre in collaboration with the BELS+ Project carried on a Training day as part of the event “Reference Frame in Practise Seminar and BELS+ Training” organized at the FIG Working Week recently held in Hanoi (FIG/IAG/UN-GGIM-AP/ICG/VGCR Technical Seminar). The training was opened by Ms. Ms. Pavlina Nicolova of the European Commission while Speakers from the Centre and from the BELS+ partners presented the Galileo systems with its features and provided training on Standard and Precise Point Positioning (SPP, PPP) techniques. Practical exercises where organized as well.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thuan from NAVIS Centre presented the NAVISIM a Software Defined Radio GNSS signal generator developed at the NAVIS Centre that can be used for testing and validating GNSS receivers in different real-world scenarios as well as for conducting RTD activities. Participants in the training had the opportunity to use the simulator and conduct some practical tests.
