NAVIS at the ISGNSS 2013, Istanbul, Turkey

On 22-25 October 2013, Dr. Ta Hai Tung attended the International Symposium on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (ISGNSS) at the Yildiz Technical University of Istanbul, Turkey. Since the 1st edition in 1999, ISGNSS has become one of the largest international symposiums on GNSS in the world. The theme of ISGNSS 2013 is “Connecting Continents through GNSS where Europe and Asia Meet”.

At the Symposium, on behalf of NAVIS Centre and Growing NAVIS project, Dr. Tung presented 2 papers:

  1. "Multi-GNSS Positioning Solutions with Real Data Collected in South-East Asia Region", co-authors: Duc Minh Truong, Vinh The La, Tung Hai Ta, and Gustavo Belforte
  2. "Growing NAVIS – EU-SEA Cooperation Action in the field of GNSS", co-authors: Matteo Vannucchi, Ta Hai Tung, and Gabriella Povero

Also, Dr. Tung served as the Chair of "Session 10B: RTK, CORS, Navigation, Troposphere". Apart from the technical discussions with many experts in all over the world, Dr. Tung also participated in the Steering Committee meeting of the ISGNSS, at which he expressed the willingness of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) to host the ISGNSS 2016 in Vietnam. The Committee supported the offer of HUST and will officially decide in the next meeting.
