As announced, on August 17th, 2012, at NAVIS Centre, Mr. Matteo Cypriani from Laboratoire d'Informatique de l’univeristé de Franche-Comté gave his "Seminar on Self-Calibration of A Radio-based Indoor Positioning System".

There are 25 participants including professors, researchers, and students of School of Electronics and Telecommunication, School of Information and Communication Technology and NAVIS Centre. During 1 hour, Mr. Matteo presented his works on WiFi positioning and focused on his technique for tackling the problem of fingerprinting calibration. After the presentation, there were many discussions between the presenter and the audience about the technique itself as well as how to deploy such kind of system. Many interesting ideas were raised during the discussion, which promise the feasibility of a new research line in the Centre.

A big thanks goes to Mr. Matteo for his effort in bringing this very interesting seminar to NAVIS Centre. Below are some pictures of the seminar.
